Everything to help you put a useful mug brief together.
What is the minimum mug order?
Orders start at one mug. Personal gifts and larger group orders are both welcome.
Which mug sizes are available?
The current range is 11 oz ceramic mugs. Planned options: 15 oz, not yet available.
Where do you deliver?
Wotta Mug delivers Australia-wide. Include your postcode so shipping can be included in the quote.
How do I order a custom mug?
Start with a quote request. Tell us the quantity, who the mugs are for, your artwork idea and any required date. The quote and artwork are agreed before printing.
Are the designs stickers?
No. Wotta Mug uses sublimation printing, where the design becomes part of the coated mug surface.
What determines the price?
Quantity, mug choice, artwork preparation, different names or designs, and delivery all affect the quote.
Can I use a photograph or business logo?
Yes. Send the original file where possible and use artwork you have permission to reproduce. Small web images may not have enough detail for the intended print size.
Do I need finished artwork?
No. We can create custom artwork, including caricatures, pet portraits, illustrated themes and business designs. Describe your idea and select design help in the quote form. Artwork scope and any design charges are agreed with your quote; you approve a proof before printing.
How long does an order take?
Production takes 7–10 business days after artwork approval. Delivery time is additional and depends on the destination. Share your required date and postcode before confirming an order.
How should I care for my mug?
Hand wash with warm water, mild detergent and a soft sponge. Do not soak or use bleach, abrasives or scouring pads. Avoid sudden temperature changes. Handle with care and dry thoroughly. Do not use if chipped or cracked. Dishwasher and microwave use not recommended unless confirmed by the manufacturer.
Which mug colours can I order?
Options offered are all white; white mugs with coloured interiors and handles; and black mugs with a white print panel. The coloured-interior and handle options are pink, orange, green, red, light blue, yellow, black and dark blue/purple. The dark shade is described visually; confirm the exact shade and availability for your order when requesting a quote. These options are not a guarantee of current stock quantities.
Does the black mug have a white printing area?
The black-bodied mug has one white print panel, 197 mm wide by 87 mm high, centred opposite the handle, wrapping around both sides of the mug. These are the panel dimensions, not a confirmed edge-to-edge printable area. Confirm the safe print margins and final artwork placement before approving the proof.
Can every mug have a different name?
Include the exact names and quantities in one checked list. Individual artwork requirements and any charges are agreed with the quote.
Are all the colours in the preview available to order?
The preview colours are illustrative, not a stock list. Confirm the available mug options with your quote. Screen colours can differ from a physical mug.
Where are the mugs printed?
Wotta Mug prints on the Gold Coast, Queensland. This describes the printing location, not the manufacturing origin of the ceramic blank.
Can I preview my design before requesting a quote?
Yes. Use the Mug Preview page to upload a PNG, JPG or WebP image, choose a mug colour and adjust placement on an approximate 11 oz mug. The preview is a visual guide, not a final print proof.
Can I put a different image on each side?
Yes. The preview supports two independent designs. Upload your first image to Design 1, then select Design 2 and upload the second. You can also copy Design 1 to the opposite side.
What does the saved mock-up include?
Save mock-up image creates one PNG with four views: left, right, front and your selected angle. When you continue to a quote from the designer, the enquiry also includes a flat-panel PNG and the selected mug-colour hex. It requires a working 3D preview. Keep your original artwork separately for printing.
How close can the design go to the handle?
The full 11 oz template is 225 mm wide × 97.5 mm high, including clearance. The preview reserves 25 mm on each side beside the handle, leaving 175 mm between those exclusion zones. The full template height is available up to the top and bottom printable edges. Final artwork and placement are checked before printing. This describes the existing white-bodied mug template. The black-bodied mug has a different white print panel; confirm its safe printable area separately rather than applying these wrap dimensions to it.
